The Raekwon show saturday was very interesting lol
The Chef came thru and BLAZED it!!! Luckily for me,
I had the honor of djing for the man and selecting his songs.
I had no idea it was going down like that, but atleast I had a
bunch of "Only built for cuban links" instrumentals ...

Ol Dirty Bastard's son "Little Dirty" was in the building, along with the RZA. Good crowd. So everything is going smooth ... Rae does "Verbal Intercourse", "Glaciers of Ice", "Criminology" ... THEN his hypeman/manager? tells me to throw on the same track again, that we had just did like 10 mins before ... I'm thinkin to myself, is he making a mistake?
I didnt understand what was going on. So I drop the record ...
and Raekwon is like "hold up we already did this joint the dj must be up here scared and nervous" when out of nowhere THE REG grabs the mic and is like "YO HOW ARE YOU GONNA DISS MY DJ????" lol HAHA I gotta thank the REG for that, seriously.
Raekwon ended up showing us mad love, everything was cool.

We had alot of fun doing the show.
I just thought that was a funny moment I should share with everyone. Unfortunately the camera wasnt rolling during that classic moment lol but I gotta say Thank You to Big Mario Ahumadah who came out and filmed.
The Rae footage is classic.

The Providence Sound Sessions 09 Kick off party was dope!
Felt good to be back. Alot of people don't know I was one
of the original djs back in the "Round Midnight" days @ The Rep,
back around 2001 - 2002.

Shout to everyone who came out! Shouts to Don King, J'Juan Wilson,
Raidge, Tai, Lady Ruk, SKD & Dj Benzi. Considering the late crowd,
the night was full of energy and alot of fun.
Benzi ended up coming back to the crib ...
found out he is a really big fan of Dj Break (also from RI)
also hooked me up with crazy record pool, so I got my
crates beefed up a little bit ;)
